A gluten free dessert roundup! If you need a gluten free recipe for dessert that you doesn’t make you feel like you’re missing out on something this round up is for you!
Ok so as some of you may know I try to be gluten free most of the time. I do not have celiac disease, let me state that first. However, my doctor basically said- the more I stay away the better I feel. Unfortunately yes, she was right. Now that means yes I still will totally devour a Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Cupcake or a good ol’ fashioned key lime bar when I see one. And good luck with me around a chocolate chip cookie- especially the best one ever- the Famous New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookie.
But that means I do try to bake with gluten free flours when I can- or better yet- make flourless desserts when I can. Anytime I’ve made a flourless dessert people are so shocked how good they are! I actually have come to prefer my brownies without flour in them. They are just richer, gooier, and downright freaking awesome.
So no flour. No problem. Yea I said it.
That’s why I thought it would be good to do a roundup of the gluten free (and/or flourless) desserts on this blog. And I am hoping this list just continues to grow- double, triple even maybe by next year. But for now, I have 25 gluten free desserts for you if you or someone you love has a big sweet tooth like me but can’t have flour.
Because seriously no one should ever live without dessert. Not one single day. Can I get that on a T-shirt?
So let’s begin shall we?
25 Gluten Free Recipes For Dessert
Flourless Butterfinger Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies– Pin for Later– Earlier this week I shared these cookies with you. These cookies sparked the “I wonder how many other gluten free desserts I’ve made on this blog” thought. Which lead to this post!
Flourless Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies– (pin for later) These cookies are held together with peanut butter. And loaded with chocolate chunks. So if you are peanut butter and chocolate lover fan, you are going to love these little cookies.
Milky Way Rice Krispie Treats (pin for later) These are rice krispie treats taken to a whole new level. Rice Krispie treats are naturally gluten free, but then these are topped with a homemade caramel sauce and a chocolate ganache making them out of this world.
3 Ingredient Turtles (pin for later) These turtles couldn’t be easier! All you need is pecans, caramel (homemade or jarred) and chocolate- and they can be made in your microwave! I love them with just a sprinkle of sea salt on top.
Nutella Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies (pin for later)- These cookies were the idea behind the Butterfinger version- except they are stuffed with Nutella! Nothing wrong with that, am I right?
Boston Crème Pie Macarons– (pin for later) Could there be anything better? Vanilla macarons filled with a vanilla pastry cream and dipped in a rich chocolate ganache!
Classic Rice Krispie Treats– (pin for later) When you just want to keep it simple! These are better than the original with a bit more butter stirred in and extra mini marshmallows, and what could be wrong about that?
3- Ingredient Peanut butter Oreo Truffles– Ok I know what you’re saying over there. But Heather there is Oreos in there! Oreos aren’t gluten free! True, but I made these with Oreos gluten free cousins and they were fantastic. So whether you’re gluten free or not, these truffles kick butt. If you aren’t gluten free, then go ahead and use the regular ones, otherwise use the gluten free ones and no one will be the wiser!
10 Minute Hot Fudge Sauce (pin for later)- Now maybe this isn’t quite a dessert on its own. Or maybe it is. Who am I to judge. Grab a spoon. Go for it. But when it only takes 10 minutes to make your own decadent way better than store bought hot fudge sauce it becomes a dessert in no time. Drizzle this over a bowl of ice-cream and you’ve got a dessert everyone will love!
Brownie Bites with Mint Buttercream Frosting (Pin For Later) These are flourless brownies baked in a mini cupcake pan so you can feel less guilty when eating them (wink, wink). Unless you’re like me and pop 3 without breathing. What makes these absolutely killer is the swirl of fluffy mint buttercream frosting on top and mini chocolate chips!
Clementine Cake (pin for later)- If clementines are in season, you have to make this cake! Can you believe this cake is gluten free? I couldn’t either- but it’s made with almond flour. The cake is also made with only 6 ingredients, how awesome is that. And to top it off- a rich dark chocolate ganache!
Flourless Fudge Cookies (pin for later)- These are one of the most popular recipes on my blog! And can you blame them? They are so fudgy and delicious, totally flour free, and also made with egg whites so they are less than a 100 calories each! You saving this recipe yet? Thought so 🙂
Nutella and Sea Salt Fudge (Pin For Later) Ok so please forgive this photo- this was taken way back in the early blogging days. However, I still stand by this recipe. This fudge was so crazy good. Might be time to re-do this post and update the photos and have them do this fudge recipe justice!
Lemon Thumbprint Cookies– Pin For Later– These cookies could be made with all purpose flour of course but I made these with gluten free baking flour and they were soft and delicious! And they were filled with a homemade lemon curd that could be made in the microwave!
Cadbury Mini Egg Peanut Butter Cookie Cups– Pin For Later– These are perfect for when it’s Cadbury Mini Egg season! If you don’t eat the whole bag then make these cookies. These are flourless peanut butter cookies pressed into a cupcake pan, filled with a chocolate ganache, and topped with Cadbury Mini Eggs!

Candy Cane Marshmallow Bark– Pin For Later– I love candy bark! One because it’s so tasty, but two because it’s so darn easy to make! And you can totally switch it up to how you like. This was a Christmas version with candy canes but you could leave those out if you want and add in whatever you want. Dried fruit, nuts, cookies, whatever you like!
Homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs– Pin For Later– Even if it’s not Easter, these are never wrong to make!
Homemade Butterfingers– Pin For Later– Speaking of homemade candy, homemade butterfingers! You will never guess the secret ingredient!

Flourless Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies– Pin for Later– Ok now you might be thinking, didn’t you already include this? Yes…and no. This is a slightly different flourless peanut butter cookie recipe. And instead of Nutella centers, the Nutella has been added right to the dough. That means, these cookies are super simple to come together and have pretty swirls of Nutella running through them.
