CINNAMON ROLL COOKIES

Your favorite breakfast treat is turned into buttery cinnamon roll cookies that no one is going to be able to resist. Starting with a simple sugar cookie dough, cinnamon sugar gets sprinkled on before the dough is rolled up and sliced. Drizzle with vanilla icing before serving and watch these cookies disappear.

Cinnamon  Sugar Filling

1. Whisk dry ingredients. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

WHISK TOGETHER

2. Cream butter and sugar. In a second mixing bowl, with an electric mixer cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

CREAM TOGETHER

3. Add egg and vanilla. Add egg and mix just until combined. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed. Add vanilla extract and combine.

ADD & MIX

4. Add in dry ingredients. Add the flour mixture, and mix at low to medium speed until mixture is evenly moistened.
