Simple Cookie Glaze
- Boston Girl Bakes
1. In a mixing bowl, sift 2 cups of confectioner sugar.
2. Add the corn syrup, milk, and vanilla. Stir to combine. You can use a whisk, fork, or spoon. The icing should be thick, but still spreadable. If the icing is too thick, add more milk 1 teaspoon at a time.
3. Add food coloring, a few drops at a time, and stir in until a desired color is reached.
4. Glaze one cookie to see if the glaze spreads into a smooth consistency. If it doesn’t add a little more milk – 1 teaspoon at a time, and mixing in.
