Chocolate M&M Cookies

These double chocolate M&M cookies are easy chocolate cookie to make! These chewy chocolate cookies are soft with crisp edges, and loaded with chocolate chips and M&M’s.

1. Combine dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

2. Cream butter and sugar. In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar on medium-high speed, until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the bowl as needed.

3. Add egg and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until combined. Add in vanilla extract. Beat to combine.

4. Add dry ingredients. Gradually add the dry ingredients, beating just until combined. You want to make sure to not overmix. With a wooden spoon, or spatula, stir in candies and chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least one hour, up to overnight.
