Honey Almond Granola

An easy versatile recipe that can be adapted to your tastes and what you have on hand

Ingredients

  • * 4 cups oats
  • * 1 1/2 cups almond
  • * 1/2 cup flax seed
  • * 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • * 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • * 1 cup coconut shredded
  • * 1/2 cup honey
  • * 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • * 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • * 3/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or baking mat. Combine ingredients through coconut in a mixing bowl and set aside.
  • 2. In a medium saucepan, heat honey, oil, and vanilla over low heat just to warm.
  • 3. Pour the honey and oil mixture over the oat mixture. Stir to combine.
  • 4. Spread evenly on prepared cookie sheet.
  • 5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown, stirring once halfway through cooking.
  • 6. Once cooled, add in cranberries.
