DIY Apple Pie Spice

A homemade apple pie spice! Saves you time and a few pennies with spices you probably already have on hand!

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  •  Combine spices in a small bowl, mix well to combine. Store in a small jar or spice container.
  • Yield: 1/3 cup

Notes

*You can customize this to your tastes! If you like cardamom, the original recipe called for 1 1/2 teaspoons.
*If you use fresh nutmeg, you might want to decrease the amount as it tends to be a bit stronger
