- 2 cups (226 g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Then add the milk a tablespoon at a time. 2 cups (226 g) powdered sugar 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2-3 tablespoons milk
You can adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk if its' too thick or more sugar if it's too thin.
Then spread the glaze on top of the rolls (I like to do this while they are still a bit warm).
- Storage: You can make up to 2 days ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge. You will want to stir it before using and let come to room temperature. You may need to thin it back out with a little bit more milk.
- Use non dairy milk - If you want you can swap out the regular milk and use a plant-based milk like almond milk or coconut milk.
- Use heavy whipping cream - For a really decadent frosting you can swap out the milk and use heavy whipping cream.
