This strawberry cheesecake dip is an easy no bake dessert to serve for the summer! Made with just a few ingredients, this dessert dip comes together in minutes. Serve with fresh fruit, classic graham crackers or cookies.
As much as I love my homemade strawberry cheesecake (and I do! Like a lot). I don’t always love all the work that goes into it. Having to set up the water bath, and bake the cheesecake for over an hour. Then letting it cool. Sometimes a girl just wants her cheesecake NOW. Know what I mean?
Enter this strawberry cheesecake dip. This no bake dessert dip was an instant crowd favorite when I served it. I mean what’s not to love about a dessert dip? Like my brownie batter dip, or my cake batter dip. Or my pumpkin pie dip in the Fall! A yummy dip is always a hit for the host and the guests.
I made my cheesecake dip with my homemade strawberry topping and homemade whipped cream. But you can take the shortcuts where needed and use strawberry pie filling and whipped topping. And don’t forget of course to serve it alongside all your favorite things to dip with. Like fresh strawberries, Golden Oreos, or vanilla wafers perhaps? You could make this the star of a dessert board!

Why This Recipe Works
- Easy no bake dessert for the summer or Valentine’s Day
- Just five ingredients
- Comes together in minutes
- Can make it completely homemade or take a few shortcuts depending on time!
Ingredients Needed
- Cream Cheese: I recommend full-fat for best texture. For a lower-fat version, you can use light cream cheese. I would not use fat free. And use the block-style cream cheese for the best texture. Make sure your cream cheese is softened. Read my full tutorial on how to soften cream cheese quickly.
- Powdered Sugar: I do not recommend granulated sugar. You can always make your own powdered sugar at home.
- Whipped Topping: You can substitute the Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream if desired.
- Pure Vanilla Extract: Enhances the overall flavor with a subtle warmth. For an extra twist, try a touch of almond extract.
- Strawberry Pie Filling: I like to use my homemade strawberry topping but canned strawberry filling can be used.
How To Make Strawberry Cheesecake Dip
In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes. You can use a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment or an electric hand mixer.
With a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, gently fold in the whipped topping (or whipped cream) until fully incorporated. Be careful to not deflate the whipped cream too much.
Spread the mixture into a serving dish or serving bowl.
And evenly spoon 1 cup of strawberry pie filling on top. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or fresh fruit for dipping. Enjoy!
Serving Suggestions
There are endless things to use to serve alongside this strawberry cream cheese dip. Here are a few suggestions:
- Cookies: You can serve with your favorite cookies. Like Golden Oreos, regular Oreos, or vanilla wafers.
- Graham crackers
- Pretzel squares
- Fresh fruit – like apple slices, fresh strawberries, or other berries.
Recipe Variations
- Make it a blueberry version! Use canned blueberry filling and make a blueberry cheesecake dip instead.
- Add a little lemon zest. For a bit of brightness try stirring in a bit of fresh lemon zest at the end.
- Add marshmallow fluff. For a bit of a sweeter dip, try stirring in some marshmallow fluff.
- Top with strawberry jam. If you can’t find the strawberry pie filling, you could always just use a quality strawberry preserves.
Storage Instructions
This dip can be made a day ahead. Simply prepare, cover, and refrigerate. Add extra toppings just before serving to keep them fresh and crisp.
Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Make sure to give it a quick stir before serving.
Recipe FAQs
You could always serve this on top of a stack of French toast or pancakes in the morning! Or make a graham cracker crust and make mini no bake cheesecakes.
I wouldn’t recommend freezing the dip. The dip may not thaw to the same consistency.
